It was worth it though.
I was not too familiar with Elder -who were seconds in the line-up-
but the band from Boston delivered an outstanding performance: intense noise,
dense chords. Overall, a winner.
Earthless came to stage around 11.30. and I was wondering during the
break whether Elder had already set the bar a little bit too high for Isaiah and
friends.
The answer came straight away: the concert started slow. 5 minutes in
and Isaiah was already playing pretty serious lick. A couple of songs after and
Mario was leading the band a hundred miles per hour with a really solid
powerful drum beat.
The show ended with a cover of Foxey Lady by Jimmy Hendrix. Too funny,
too good!
