Eyreton Hall is the folk song
writing collaboration of Toni Randle and Andrew Keegan, two talented musicians
based in Auckland, New Zealand, who once were from the Melbourne music scene.
It was a small show hosted at the
Wesley Ann in Northcote, where they played last four years ago before
emigrating to the other side of the Tasman Sea.
Strong lyrics and a very delicate
drum beat that wraps around the subtle piano notes accompanying Toni’s voice. A
few familiar faces from the Moreland City Soul Review were at the pub that
night, supporting their old colleagues and enjoying a few drinks.
Lovely venue, worth visiting in a
week night to get a feel of the Melbourne local folk bands and have a sip of
wine while listening to sung poetry.
Thanks for reading.
