Last day of a pretty awesome music marathon, Vampire
Weekend and Horrorshow were in charge of the count down and the party went on,
we had a few drinks and a bit of a dance and meet some cool cats backstage.
The following morning, we found ourselves with a flat car
battery and our tent neighbour was kind enough to give us a jump.
Great Festival, yes sir…

VAMPIRE WEEKEND
The New Yorkers have evolved from its early days and
playful sounds, and did great at keeping a massive crowd happy all the way
through to the New Year. A flare was landed on the stage but this didn’t affect
a stand-out performance from the beginning to the end of the show.

VIOLENT FEMMES
Consistently good…well great even. Last time they traveled to Australia 30 years ago most of the crowd wasn´t even born. This did not make a difference to the dancing youngsters singing hit after hit. Violent Femmes was a gig not to be missed on the day.
