Harvest Festival
was a success. I was soooo scared by last year´s feedback that we didn´t really
decided to drive our own car until the night before.
The access to
Werribee Park was pretty smooth considering the amount of people that were
attending to the event. The park guards were efficient and there were no queues
getting into the precinct.
Inside there
were more surprises: hardly any queues at the drinks lines, clean toilets all
day long, multiple points with fresh drinking water and really nice food on the
kiosks. The festival had also a couple of sponsors running promotional
campaigns and we were given litres and litres of really nice cold ice tea,
bananas, sun cream, earplugs (seriously!) and stubby holders that we managed to
loose during the day.
Even the grass
was perfect! It was so good to the point that a very nice staff member managed
to find me four fresh AA batteries for my flashgun after I had an emergency. And
call me fanatic but I didn´t see anything going wrong in the whole day… except maybe
for Beck forgetting his lyrics, but that´s part of his charm!
I will be
posting stage photos over the next couple of days and also another gallery of
crowd shots on our Facebook page.
Thanks for
reading.
